Enhancing Human and Athletic Performance Through Biomechanics and Sports Science
My entire training philosophy is rooted in biomechanics, sports science, and a comprehensive understanding of how the human body performs, adapts, and recovers. My mission is to elevate both athletic and human performance through a highly individualized, science-driven system built around precision, structure, and longevity.
Assessment and Individualized Program Development
Every athlete begins with a 50-point orthopedic assessment, evaluating:
Musculoskeletal Function
Joint integrity & Mobility
Biomechanical Efficiency
From this data, we create a customized training program that:
Corrects dysfunctional joints & imbalances
Restores optimal ranges of motion
Builds a foundation for performance progression
Athletes also undergo a full movement & performance evaluation to set training baselines.
This detailed evaluation allows me to identify any joints or movement patterns falling outside optimal physiological tolerances. Using this data, I design a fully customized performance program tailored to the athlete’s exact needs. Any dysfunctional or compromised areas are restored through targeted corrective work, mobility protocols, and structured reinforcement. These elements are integrated directly into training so biomechanics align with the athlete’s sport demands and long-term performance goals.
After the orthopedic assessment, I perform a complete movement and performance evaluation to establish the athlete’s baseline and roadmap for progression.
Phase 1: Movement Optimization
The first phase focuses on mastering the seven foundational movement patterns:
Squat / Lunge / Bend / Push / Pull / Twist / Gait
I evaluate far beyond just movement execution. I analyze::
Athlete position and sport-specific demands
Average minutes played and workload management
Lifestyle factors, injury history, and recovery needs
Mental and cognitive performance considerations
Athletes suffering from joint misalignments, muscle imbalances, strains, or chronic pain are at a heightened risk of performance limitations and injury-related setbacks. Our approach ensures that every movement executed in training is rooted in medical and scientific research, bridging the gap between rehabilitation and elite sports performance.
Phase 2: Advanced Sports Performance
Once an athlete demonstrates proficiency in foundational movement patterns, they progress into high-performance training tailored to their sport. This phase incorporates:
First-step acceleration mechanics
Plyometric training for explosive power
Speed and agility development
Cognitive and sensory training for enhanced reaction time and decision-making
Our programs are structured to elevate an athlete’s neuromuscular efficiency, reaction speed, and biomechanical precision, ensuring peak performance in competition.
Elite Recovery and Regeneration Protocols
Recovery is a non-negotiable part of performance. When I travel with an athlete or oversee their program, I implement world-class regeneration protocols, which may include:
Cold plunge therapy for inflammation control
Infrared sauna for circulation and recovery
Normatec compression therapy for muscle recovery
Advanced treatment tables for manual therapy
The goal is simple: increase durability, reduce inflammation, accelerate recovery, and extend career longevity.
Financial Economics and Travel Structure
Training & Treatment
When I travel to work with an athlete, I provide a fully comprehensive performance service, including:
Strength & Conditioning
Recovery treatments (soft tissue, corrective stretching, mobility)
Daily performance management
Nutritional oversight and compliance
If a training location is needed, I will personally secure one to maintain continuity and performance quality.
Nutritional Oversight
I closely track nutrition and internal inflammation markers to support energy levels, performance, and recovery. This includes:
Personally sourcing and selecting foods (Whole Foods, juice bars, specialty markets)
Working with personal chefs to design and adjust meal plans
Ensuring meals align with the athlete’s health, performance, and recovery goals
Process and Logistics
All travel and logistics are managed in advance for a seamless experience.

David Alexander
For over 25 years, David has helped some of the world’s top athletes reach their full potential. As founder and creator of DBC, his vision from the start was to build a facility that would accomplish more than just training athletes. He wants to educate people on the proper way to train and how to move from the inside out. His detailed approach is known throughout the industry. He wants this approach to spread throughout the industry to encourage trainers to develop a greater understanding of what human movement is.
