Assessment

Assessment and Individualized Program Development

Every athlete begins with a 50-point orthopedic assessment, evaluating:

  • Musculoskeletal Function

  • Joint integrity & Mobility

  • Biomechanical Efficiency

From this data, we create a customized training program that:

  • Corrects dysfunctional joints & imbalances

  • Restores optimal ranges of motion

  • Builds a foundation for performance progression

Athletes also undergo a full movement & performance evaluation to set training baselines.

Movement Optimization

Phase 1: Movement Optimization

We teach mastery of the seven fundamental movement patterns:

Squat / Lunge / Bend / Push / Pull / Twist / Gait

Our methodology extends beyond traditional strength and conditioning. We analyze key performance variables such as:

  • Athlete position and sport-specific demands

  • Average minutes played and workload management

  • Lifestyle factors, injury history, and recovery needs

  • Mental and cognitive performance considerations

Athletes suffering from joint misalignments, muscle imbalances, strains, or chronic pain are at a heightened risk of performance limitations and injury-related setbacks. Our approach ensures that every movement executed in training is rooted in medical and scientific research, bridging the gap between rehabilitation and elite sports performance.

Advanced Sports Performance

Phase 2: Advanced Sports Performance

Once an athlete demonstrates proficiency in foundational movement patterns, they progress into high-performance training tailored to their sport. This phase incorporates:

  • First-step acceleration mechanics

  • Plyometric training for explosive power

  • Speed and agility development

  • Cognitive and sensory training for enhanced reaction time and decision-making

Our programs are structured to elevate an athlete’s neuromuscular efficiency, reaction speed, and biomechanical precision, ensuring peak performance in competition.

Recovery

Elite Recovery and Regeneration Protocols

DBC Fitness provides world-class recovery facilities and professional medical staff to support athletic longevity and injury prevention. Our recovery center includes:

  • Cold plunge therapy for inflammation control

  • Infrared sauna for circulation and recovery

  • Normatec compression therapy for muscle recovery

  • Advanced treatment tables for manual therapy

Additionally, our team of Physical Therapists (DPT), Athletic Trainers (ATC), and sports performance specialists ensures that athletes receive comprehensive care, mirroring the resources available in professional sports organizations.
