DBC LVL 3 reviews the safety, efficacy, and applicability of high-performance sports training. First step mechanics, plyometrics, speed/agility, and cognitive/sensory training are discussed and practiced, to ensure working knowledge and ability, to determine which training phases should be included in an athletes’ training program and when.

For nearly three decades, David Alexander has designed and implemented sports-performance programs for some of the world’s most elite athletes. DBC Level 3 was built from those same principles, methodologies, and real-world experiences used to develop athletes at the highest levels of sport.
This course takes coaches beyond simply collecting drills and teaches them how to understand, assess, and develop athletic movement with purpose.
From first-step mechanics, acceleration, speed and agility, plyometrics, change of direction, and deceleration to sensory, reactive, and cognitive development, Level 3 breaks down the foundations behind athletic performance and teaches coaches how to apply them across different sports, ages, and levels of ability.
The objective is not to give you a library of complicated drills. It is to teach you why a drill is being used, what you should be looking for, and when an athlete is ready to progress.
You’ll learn how to establish the foundational movement qualities an athlete needs before adding speed, load, reaction, or complexity—and how to visually assess performance so you can make intelligent progressions and regressions in real time.
